TEST DRIVES

We offer test rides whenever we are riding in the local area and try to post dates when we plan to ride on our Facebook Fan Page . In addition if you would like a little more time on the bike we can make arrangements with Dave Turner Adventure Tours LLC for a Beta rental bike. If you purchase a new Beta bike we will deduct the full rental fee from the retail price. We are confident if you ride Beta bike, you will want one-they are that good!

CUSTOM SUSPENSION SERVICE

We are now offering custom suspension service for Beta, KTM, and Husqvarna motorcycles. Customize your bike to meet your riding style with custom valving, correct spring rates, and Gold Valve replacement pistons.

 Updates for the 2014 RR Include:
Engine:
* Redesigned cylinder head including reinforced camshaft bridge, valve retainers, and updated cam chain tensioner to help reduce engine noise.
* New clutch primary gear and springs for better engagement and clutch action.
* Updated counterbalance bearings for increased reliability.
* Stronger cam chain guides
* Increased oil volume to the engine cam chain for reduced friction.
* New oil drain plug for easier oil changes.

Chassis:
* All new Sachs 48mm fork with TFX technology, developed by Sachs exclusively for Beta. This new design allows the fork to move through its stroke with very little friction.
* New SKF fork seals and wipers with self-lubricating compounds to also reduce stiction.
* New triple clamp to match perfectly with the new front fork.
* Redesigned frame with extra gussets as well as an increased tube diameter on the lower tubes. This new frame has less flex and has improved stability.
* New front and rear brake rotors.
* New Brembo clutch master cylinder for a better clutch feel and engagement.
* Redesigned muffler (Spark Arrestor) offers better flow while retaining a quiet exhaust note.
* Redesigned front headlight and front fender support

R ENDURO 2T 250/300 MY2014

THE EXCELLENCE CONTINUES!

The RR ENDURO 2T project is the result of 110 years of experience of Betamotor in the two wheels field, both as a producer of motorcycles and engines. It is finely designed to answer the enthusiast and the more experienced rider of off-road rules.

The heart of the bike is the new 2-stroke engine finely researched, designed, developed and manufactured in the beautiful hills of Rignano sull'Arno, Italy. The 2 stroke RR range in terms of performance, in terms of lightness, compactness and rationality of design is the undisputed son of the real "made in Italy" genius.

After the launch and the excellent success in the 2013 season, the bike that USA press giant Dirt Rider named “Bike of the Year”, is dressed in bright red finished with compelling graphics for 2014. Many more refinements will insure the Beta 250 and 300 RR models will continue to dominate the field.

 

Important updates include:

FRAME

FRONT FORK:

Important improvements have been made both to the forks internal cartridges as well as to the valving. New work on the pistons, specifically the tolerance between the pistons and the inner cartridge has been reduced and the friction of the outer housing has changed with the aim of improving the performance in both hard, square-edge hits and rocky conditions. An improved top cap that is both easier to service and easier to adjust as the rebound components are now contained in the cap. Inner cartridge diameter is now 12mm for improved oil fluid flow as well as more responsive as well as new settings and adjustment of the bypass valve. New oil designed to minimize friction and reduce temperatures. All of the features above described gives to the front fork a smoother feel, a more accurate ride and a better response when bad hits occur.

REAR SHOCK ABSORBER:

A new bleed hole diameter along with the tapered adjuster allows for a more precise adjustment of the shock’s rebound system combined with a new spring with a more consistent action, 5.2 kg/mm. These updates combined to the new valving changes provide more stability and will provide even more confidence for riders of all levels.

FRAME:

Further development of the previous frame, small but numerous updates on materials and geometries of reinforcement plates and brackets. All updates are designed and aimed at reducing tension as the map of stress characterized by a different shade of color that changes from blue to red, the result of F.E.M analysis, modeled in 3d. The blue areas are low-load while the other (which tend to be red) are those most stressed. As the diagram shows, frame stress has been reduced to a bare minimum.

FUEL TANK:

Now transparent and a new design to increase its capacity up to 9.5 liters (2.5 US Gallons) , at the same time providing a more “Race Look” to the bike.

FRONT FENDER:

A new design which combines a more appealing look and a new shape that improves the rigidity in bending and flexing, ensuring perfect stability even under the most extreme muddy conditions. Wider at the middle/front area it protects the rider from getting wet due to the water raised up from the front wheel.

SEAT COVER:

A new look finely finished aesthetics by visible seams.

SEAT BASE:

More rigid and reinforced to ensure a solid fit to the frame as well as better comfort to the rider. More compact design for better ergonomics and fit between the seat base and the seat foam.

NEW BATTERY AND CDI FIXING ELASTIC:

Redesigned straps for the battery and CDI box for a better fit and longer durability.

SILENCER:

Improved fit to insure better reliability and longevity to the silencer body and mounting points.

BRAKE DISC:

A new heat treatment gives greater hardness to the disk for increasing durability and performance.

 

ENGINE

INTERNAL CLUTCH COVER:

A new oil level screw has been added for ease of checking the clutch/gearbox oil. Oil level screw

250cc – 2 STROKE – engine:

exhaust valve with new flap to improve grip on the exhaust during the closing phase. Provides greater performance at low rpm and a smoother transition throughout the power range.

NEW PISTON FOR 350CC VERSION:

modified the profile and the position of the holes of lubrication. Increases reliability and reduces oil consumption over time. Increased reliability: new countershaft, bearings and gearbox design with countershaft heat treatment changes. Modified geometry of the shift drum for easier and more precise shifting.
